Loki didn't leave the apartment all day in part fear that Barton would attempt to escape somehow. He already knew he was going to get into trouble for what he'd done, he certainly didn't need to loose the archer on top of the impromptu transformation spell he'd cast to turn the agent into a white tiger cub. He didn't mind being stuck inside all day on this particular eve though as the entertainment value provided by Barton's defiant attitude and Raun's eager attempts to get the cub to play with him were priceless.

By the end of the day Raun had begun to settle down and when Loki took a relaxed seat on the couch the kitten was almost instantly there to lie down in his lap. The Trickster god petted idly at the kitten's soft fur as he kept a deceptively lidded eye on the tiger cub.

Coulson would be home soon. Loki couldn't be more overjoyed by the prospect.

"News to me," Clint muttered under his breath, not entirely sure which one he was responding to. "Fine, fine, I'm going." He pulled on the shirt and walked to the door. Somehow, he refrained from stomping like a disgruntled teenager.

"Maybe you should ask Goldilocks about making your place hex-proof," he threw over his shoulder, experimentally touching the doorknob. When it didn't shock him, Clint opened the door. After shooting one more glare at the ceiling, Clint was out the door and on his way to the nearest shooting range.

Loki appeared next to Coulson well after Barton had left the apartment. He was silent for a moment, staring at the door as if still watching the archer. Then he turned to Coulson and calmly added his own two cents. "I don't actually use hexes. They're not as potent and are really only good for certain aspects. Although it is tempting to hex Barton into a were-tiger now. It could be amusing."

"Please don't," he said calmly. "Dealing with him as a tiger once was probably more than enough for a lifetime."

"I think he'd make an adorable kitten. But, as you wish."

He smiled, just a bit. "Thank you. I have to get ready for work."

"Of course you do," Loki said with a roll of his eyes. But he left Coulson to it without a fuss, disappearing from the apartment for good this time.
